What is the Jellinator?
The Jellinator is the world’s only patented device explicitly engineered to make jello shots quickly, with absolutely no mess or stress. It keeps you from spilling your liquid mixture and wasting your booze.
How exactly does it work?
The magic is in the spring-loaded tip!
- Pour your warm, liquid jello and alcohol mixture straight into the bottom half of the Jellinator, then secure the lid with a twist.
- Turn the Jellinator up-side down and press the tip firmly to the bottom of any shot cup to watch it fill up fast.
- Lift the Jellinator to instantly stop the flow. Just press and lift!
How do I clean it?
Cleaning is incredibly easy. Just rinse it thoroughly with warm water right after use before any leftover jello has a chance to harden. The Jellinator IS Dishwasher Safe (on the top shelf) but it’s totally not necessary, running warm soapy water through it does the trick!

How many shots does one box of jello make?
- 1 small box (3 oz) of jello: Yields about 15 jello shots (equivalent to 2 cups of total liquid).
- 2 small boxes (or 1 large 6 oz box): Yields about 30 jello shots.
- Party Tip: A batch of 30 shots fits perfectly onto a standard baking sheet, making them super easy to slide into your refrigerator to set.
How much alcohol do I need to buy for a big party?
As a rule of thumb, 1 fifth of vodka, 1 fifth of liqueur, and 6 small boxes of jello will yield roughly 90 to 100 shots.
How long do jello shots take to set?
They generally take about 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator to fully set. For the absolute best results, we recommend chilling them overnight.
Can I use sugar-free jello?
Yes, absolutely! Sugar-free jello works perfectly with the Jellinator and your favorite recipes.
How should I store my shots, and how long do they last?
Always cover your shots (with matching lids or a layer of plastic wrap) before you place them in the fridge. This keeps them from getting hard and gummy. If properly covered and refrigerated, they can keep for a month or so.
